disease states and their comorbidities". Even more significant in relation
to the role of fat within the ketogenic diet is that they highlight the fact that
fat cells in the body (adipocytes) link energy mobilisation and control of
stress responses. They discovered that key receptors on adipose tissue, when
stimulated inhibit "psychogenic as well as metabolic stress
responses".
